It is preventively and/ or if necessary in the immunoprophylaxis of salmonellic abortion In ovine.
The vaccine is applied during the first 3 pregnancy months.
Preventive: it is inoculated deep at its folder in a dose of 5 ml. The re-inoculation will be made at 21 days by the same inoculation way and with the same dose.
If necessary: in the groups of ovine, where the salmonellic abortion endemically evolves, it is applied a third inoculation, too, at a range of time of 30 days from the last inoculation by the same way and with the same dose.
It is agitated for the homogenization, before the inoculation.
The following animals are not inoculated: the animals on the last pregnancy month, the animals during the evolution of an infectious-contagious disease. It is not applied related to the anti-carbon inoculation. Occasionally, at the inoculation place, it may occur a small edema that disappears within 24-48 hours, remaining a small hard, persistent nodule (vaccine nodule).
At certain animals, it may be registered a low sub-fever state with anorexia, which disappears within 24 – 48 hours. Under the conditions of current practice, the inoculation of certain vaccines, independently of the manufacturer, it may produce anaphilactic reactions at certain animals. it is recommended the surveillance of animals for 1 – 2 hours after the inoculation and, if necessary, it is administered an anti-hystaminic.
