1 powder gram contains:
Chlorhidrate oxytetracycline …………………… 200 mg
Excipients: Mono-hydrate citric acid, Mono-hydrate lactose.
Oxytetracycline is an antibiotic of the tetracicline group produced by Streptomyces rimosus that bacteriostatically acts against the Gram-positive bacteria (Actinomyces spp., Baccilus anthracis, Clostridium perfrinigens, Clostridium tetani, Listeria monocytogenes, Nocardia) and Gram-negative (Bordetella spp., Brucella, Bartonella, Haemophilus spp., Escherichia coli, Pasteurella multocida, Salmonella choleraesuis, Shigella, Yersinia pestis, Yersinia pseudotuberculosis), micoplasmas, Chlamydia, rickets and protozoa at animals, as well as against the Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (Aeromonas salmonicida, Aeromonas liquefaciens, Pseudomonas fluorescens, Yersinia ruckeri) that may produce different diseases on the fish. It acts by the blockage of proteic synthesis in the bacterial cell.More info
Swine, colts, calves, lambs, kids, rabbits, minks, dogs, cats, poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkey hens, ducks, geese) and fish
The product is recommended for the control (in the groups where the diagnosis was confirmed) and the treatment of disorders produced by the oxytetracycline sensitive germs on swine, colts, calves, lambs, kids, rabbits, minks, dogs, cats, poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkey hens, ducks, geese) and fish.
Swine: enzootic pneumonia, bacterial entherites, artritis and rubella.
Colts, lambs, kids: bacterial entherites, respiratory infections, omphalites, artritis.
Calves: secondary infections associated with the virotic pneumonia, bacterial entherites, artritis, dyphteria of calves, omphalites.
Rabbits and minks: bacterial entherites.
Dogs: secondary infections associated to hepatitis.
Cats: felina infectious anemia and secondary infections associated to the felina panleucopenia and felina influence.
Poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkey hens, ducks, geese): avian cholera, avian tiphose, infectious rheum, infectious sinusitis, infectious sinovite, un-specific diarrhea, mycoplasmosis, staphylococcic artritis, pseudo-tuberculosis, coliform septicemy and secondary infections associted to infectious bronchitis, chronic respiratory diseases, infectious laryngo-tracheitis, avian variole.
Fish: eritrodermatita, infections of the swimming bladder at the carp and anthrax at the trout.
The product is orally administered, in the fodder or in the drinking water, this way:
Swine: 50-150 g product/100 l water (10-30 mg chlor-hydrate oxytetracycline/kg g.c.), or 0,5 – 3kg product/ fodder tone, once a day, for 5 days.
Calves, lambs, kids, colts: 1 – 1.5 g product/ 10 kg body weight, (20 – 30 mg chlor-hydrate oxytetracycline /kg body weight). It is daily administered in the fodder or in the drinking water, for 5 consecutive days.
Dogs, cats, rabbits, minks: 2,5 g product/ 10 kg g.c. (50 mg chlor-hydrate oxytetracycline/ kg g.c.), divided in 2 doses, for 5 consecutive days.
Poultry (broiler chickens, hens, turkey hens, ducks, geese): 50-150 g product/100 l water (10-30 mg chlor-hydrate oxytetracycline/kg g.c.), or 1 – 2 kg powder for one fodder tone (20 – 40 mg chlor-hydrate oxytetracycline/ kg g.c.), once a day, for 5 consecutive days.
Fish: 20 – 30 g product / 100 kg fish, daily. For the adult fish, the product is administered in one dose, and for the young, the product is administered on 2 doses. The product may be administered in the food or locally in the basin. For the treatment of sapling, well homogenized 100 g product is mixed as paste with 50 kg granular fodder (pellets). The adults and young can be treated for 4-8 days or until the remission of clinical signs. To ensure the appropriate dosing, the body weight of animals must be calculated as exact as possible, to avoid the underdosing of product. The water or fodder ingestion depends on the clinical state of animals. Therefore, to obtain the correct dosing, the concentration in the drinking water or fodder should be adjusted.
It is not administered per bone at the adult bovine and horses. It is not administered 3 days before and after the inoculations with live bacterial vaccins. It is not administered in case of hyper-sensitivity to the active substance or Excipients. It must not be administered for the colts of which meat is designed to the human consumption. Avoid the administration at the animals with gastric ulcer and ulcerous colitis. The administration for the ruminants of the product may produce a change of the gastro-intestinal flora. These phenomena have a transitory and reversible character. During the entire period of treatments, the animals must only drink medicined water and only consume medicined fodder. During the osteo-genesis process, the tetracycline may determine the coloring to yellow of teeth, tooth pigments, caries. The concomitant administration with the penicillins and cefalosporines will be avoided. The tetracycline must not be overdosed due to the intestinal dismicrobism, nephro-toxicity, to the negative effects over the calcifiation. It is not associated with corticosteroids, penicillins, betalactamines, cefalosporines, streptomicines, eritomicines. There are no restrictions during the lactation, pregnancy or blowing period.
