The vaccine includes the virus of Newcastle disease, the lentogen stem La Sota, with a minimum title of 109,5 DIE50/ml, inactivated with formalin and embedded in an oily adjuvant.

It is used for the active immunization of hens for the prevention of mortality, clinical signs and/or the lesions specific to Newcastle disease. It is recommended that the inoculation with Nedevac to be made after at least one immunization with alive vaccine against the Newcastle diseases at a range of time of minimum 14 days between the inoculations and at least 2 weeks before the commencement of blowing.
It is administered deep (the upper third of the neck, back side) or intramuscular (the thigh or chest muscles), the dose being 0,5 ml/ hen.
Intensive system – trading exploitations:
Light races: the inoculation is made at 16 – 18 weeks with rappel after 6 months (according to the exploitation technology);
Heavy races: the inoculation I is made at 20 – 22 weeks with rappel after 6 months (according to the exploitation technology).
Domestic system – non-trading exploitations: the inoculation is made at the age of 16 – 18 weeks, after the inoculation with alive vaccine, with rappel after 6 months.
After the application on 40-60% of the poultry, it is registered a deviation, a prostration station that are remitted within 24-48 hours. Occasionally, at the inoculation place, it may occur a small nodule that is remitted within 2 – 3 days without treatment. If you notice serious reactions or other effects that are not mentioned in this prospect, please inform the veterinary. The poultry bear two vaccine doses without the occurrence of local or general reactions, others than the one previously described. The inoculation with Nedevac will not be made for: poultry with infectious-contagious, parasitic diseases or with nutritional and metabolic deficiencies; poultry after transport; batching, transfer. The vaccine is not administered 2 weeks before the commencement of blowing. The safety/ efficacy studies of NEDEVAC vaccine were made after the inoculation with alive vaccine against the Newcastle disease at 9, 24 and 42 weeks. Only the clinically healthy poultry will be inoculated.
Observe the hygience conditions and use only a sterile injection equipment. The vaccine does not mix with other vaccines. In special epidemiologic situations that impose multiple immunizations, multivalent vaccines with an anti-Newcastle compound will be used. The phials with vaccine will be removed from the storage space (2-8°C) and brought to the temperature of 18 – 22°C for fluidization. For the insurance of homogenization of the emulsion, the phials with vaccine will be agitated before inoculation and during the inoculation. The phials with vaccine are used within maximum 6 hours from the opening.
This product contains mineral oil. The accidental inoculation with this product of the operating staff needs a specialty medical examination. In the case of an accidental injection with this product, immediately require the physician’s advice and show the prospect of the product.
The product is maintained at the temperature of 2 – 8°C, protected against light and frost.
