Enrofloxacin is a chemo-therapeutic substance with a wide range and powerful anti-microbial action, even over the germs resistant to antibiotics. It is a fluorite 4-quinolona derived, taking part to the last generation of synthetic quinolones. It has the lowest toxicity of the whole group of quinolones.
The germicide action is issued by the inhibition of the DNA gyrase enzyme, with an important role in the synthesis of nucleic acids, which determines the death of bacterial cell. It operates with bactericide on the Gram-positive and Gram-negative germs, micro-plasmas and Chlamydia.More info
