Prevention of the Infectious Bronchitis. The immunity installs after 21 days from the inoculations and lasts for 45 days. The further inoculations are determined by the category of poultry, by the epizootological situation of the farm and by its immunization program.
Intake 1 dose/ poultry.
The vaccine may be administered starting from the age of 1 day, after which it is made the maintenance inoculation, according to the prevention program of the farm.
Once the lyophilized tablet is dissolved in the included solvent (sterilized purified water), take a drop of vaccine (0,33 ml) per poultry, in the eyes or the nasal slit, use a standard quickloader (usually 30 ml per 1000 doses).
Dissolve the lyophilized tablet by filling to half of the phial where it is with water, agitate and pour in an adequate recipient with drinking water, which may be consumed within a half an hour or maximum one hour, taking into account the following:
|Age of the poultry||
Approximate quantity of water
For 1000 poultry
|1-3 weeks||5-10 liters|
|4 – 9 weeks||12 – 23 liters|
|10 – 16 weeks||27 – 37 liters|
The necessary quantity of water depends on the type of host, on the number of poultry, age, aeration, temperature and the used equipment. The quantity varies between 250 and 1,000 ml/1,000 poultry.
General rule: as the particle is smaller, the viral suspension will reach deeper in the respiratory tract.
As diluting agent, it is used the clean drinking water, entirely lacked of disinfecting substances and especially chlorine.
For the inoculation with aerosols, it must only be used a tested equipment. The following table provides a few examples:
|Inoculation with big particles||Inoculation with fine particles|
|Size of the drop||> 50 µm||< 50 µm|
|Pressure||500-600 ml/min; 2-3 bar||50 ml/min|
|Volume/ 1000 poultry||500-1000 ml||100-200 ml|
|Period/ 1000 poultry||1-2 min||5 min|
For the chickens grown on the bed, the vaccine is reconstituted in a volume of 1,5 – 2 ml/dose.
The sick poultry are not inoculated.
Agitate slowly up to the issuance of suspension of the lyophilized tablet before the intake. In the case of oral intake, do not use water with chlorides or disinfectants.
The intake by powdering needs the use of mask and protection glasses. After the reconstitution, the product will be used within 5 hours. The Bronvac vaccine may be administered at the poultry previously inoculated with the Newvac La Sota vaccine; also, the Bronvac vaccine may be used concomitantly with the Newvac La Sota vaccine. Not to mix with any other veterinary medicine product, except for the solvent.
In the circumstance that the accidental ingestion of the vaccine takes place, immediately require the physician’s advice and show the prospect or the label of the product. Post inoculation, respiratory reactions that are remitted within 14 days may occur. No spreading cases of the vaccine stem from the inoculated poultry to the un-inoculated poultry or the poultry belonging to other species.
To be kept and transported under refrigeration conditions 2-8°C. Not to freeze. To be protected against light.
